Details you can trace
Where our listing information comes from.
Venue policy sources
Confirmed policies link to their specific sources and verification dates. Outside catering, BYOB and homemade food are checked independently. Prices and capacities are never inferred from a venue name or category.
Venue websites and owner profiles
We also add venues through individual reviews of venue websites and owner-managed booking profiles. These listings record the address, evidence links and review date. Where available, coordinates come from the US Census Geocoder; unmatched addresses keep unknown coordinates. A listing review confirms the source of directory information. Food and drink policies remain Unverified until separately checked. Each listing links to its source so you can review the venue’s current details.
Overture Maps Places
Our directory includes listing information from the Overture Maps Foundation Places dataset, release 2026-10-21.0. This provides venue names, addresses, coordinates, website links and public business phone numbers. We normalize fields, screen website responses, remove likely duplicates, and exclude records identified as permanently closed or unrelated services.
These are directory records, not owner-verified endorsements or guarantees of current operations, rental availability or event suitability. Imported listings retain Unverified food and drink policies until separately checked. Contact the venue before making plans. Owners can request corrections or claim a listing through our review process.
Data: Overture Maps Foundation. Provider information and release identifiers are preserved with imported records. Places sources include Microsoft, Meta and Foursquare; individual provider and license details are retained in our import manifest.
License texts: CDLA Permissive 2.0, Apache 2.0, and Foursquare attribution notice. See Overture’s source attribution and licensing page for further details.
